Abstract
Facial bone scintigraphy demonstrated bone tissue involvement by purulent maxillary sinuitis in 11 patients examined. In no case was bone involvement demonstrated by radiography. Bone scintigraphy in this respect appears more sensitive than does conventional radiography.
