Occupational therapy in a myelomeningocele clinic.

This article presents a definition of the child with a myelomeningocele, a description of a myelomeningocele clinic setting, an outline of the particular needs and concerns of various age groups of children with myelomeningocele, and a summary of occupational therapy's role in the clinic. This paper is an attempt to fill a gap in the literature on the occupational therapist's role in the treatment of the child with myelomeningocele.
