Abstract
Present trends in the incidence of tuberculosis are reviewed. Extrapolation suggests that there will only be about 1200 notifications in 1980. By 1990 it is probable that the disease will be no commoner than non-tuberculous meningitis is now, and by 2010 it should be of interest to the medical historian only.
