In 93 complex preparations of the human orbit, the sources for blood supply of the eyeball conjunctiva, types of orbital vessels, including size of their diameters, were studied. The open parts of the conjunctiva were stated to get arteries of greater diameters comparing to those supplying the subconjunctival parts. It was noted that some sources of blood supply take their origin from the external carotid artery. This fact should be taken into account when choosing the part for biomicroscopy of the eyeball conjunctiva vessels.
在93例人类眼眶的复杂标本中，对眼球结膜的血液供应来源、眼眶血管类型，包括其直径大小进行了研究。研究表明，结膜的开放部分所接受的动脉直径大于供应结膜下部分的动脉。值得注意的是，一些血液供应来源起源于颈外动脉。在选择眼球结膜血管生物显微镜检查部位时，应考虑到这一事实。
