[Effect of stimulation and destruction of the amydgala on folliculogenesis in the ovaries of infantile rats].

Changes occurring ovarian folliculogenesis as a result of stimulation and destruction of the cortico-medial part of the amygdala, as well as the effect of choriogonadotropine on the background of these changes were studied in 80 infantile female rats. The stimulation and destruction of the cortico-medial part of the amygdala were stated to stimulate production of larger ovarian follicles and also to affect the changes produced by administration of choriogonadotropine.
