Abstract
Comparative studies between endoscopic and histological findings in 93 patients with chronic sinusitis showed that the diagnosis based upon endoscopic mucosal appearances does not compare necessarily with the histological findings. Therefore the endoscopic findings are questionable indications for surgery without histological confirmation.

对93例慢性鼻窦炎患者的内镜检查结果与组织学检查结果进行的对比研究表明，基于内镜下黏膜表现做出的诊断不一定与组织学检查结果相符。因此，在内镜检查结果未经组织学确认的情况下，将其作为手术指征是值得怀疑的。
