Diagnosis of pituitary micro-adenomas by computed tomography.

Ten cases of pituitary micro-adenomas are reported. Skull radiographs and tomography were negative or questionable in all 10 cases. All patients were scanned because of changes in the endocrine system governed by the pituitary fossa. All patients presented clinically with symptoms which indicated the presence of micro-adenomas. Surgery verified 4 cases which were proved to be adenomas on histological examination.
