In a difficult and delicate clinic for adolescents, the author attempts to demonstrate, from new concepts such as "Family Body", the importance to reevaluate classic psychiatric nosography, to differently formulate etiology, pathogenesis, prognosis and treatment of the adolescent crisis. The adolescent in crisis, as a symptom offered by the family, can be heard as a metaphore in the familial communication, as a symptom of the "Family Body": uncomfortable position and very fructuous, because in between epistemological approaches, the psychoanalytic approach and the systemic approach.
