A five-fold administration to Wistar rats of crystalline bovine trypsin in a dose of 0.01 mg per 100 g of body weight stimulated formation of rosette forming cells (RFC) and antibody forming cells (AFC) in the spleen in injection of the antigen 2 hours after the termination of trypsin treatment, but failed to influence the immune response in case of immunization 48 hours after the terminal injection of the enzyme. The blood serum of rats, obtained 2 hours after the last trypsin injection stimulated in passive homologous transfer the RFC and the AFC formation and also accelerated tha antibody production. As to serum obtained 48 hours after the termination of trypsinization, it had no effect on the development of the immunological response.
