The structure and significance of Mallory bodies in alcholic chirrhoses of the liver were studied by means of histochemical and electron-microscopy methods. It is established that alcoholic hyaline is a protein-polysaccharide-lipid complex and on the ultrastructural level has a dual structure: fibrillar and electron-dense lipid-like. Deposits of hyalyne is one of indications to the gravity of the liver structural disorders.
