Abstract
The simultaneous occurrence of a malignant ovarian dysgerminoma and of systemic lupus erythematosus is reported. The removal of the tumour resulted in a rapid disappearance of both clinical and biological symptoms of SLE. The possible relationship between tumours and autoimmune disorders is briefly discussed.
