By the use of an instrument (sudorimeter) for the continuous and automatic recording of sweating-rate fluctuations, the effects of certain drugs which suppress sweating can be determined as a function of time. This paper describes the novel features of the instrument, and the method of analyzing the data it provides in such a way as to secure information not otherwise obtainable.
