Abstract

The introduction of 5 ml. tetanus toxoid into guinea pigs stimulates the production of antibodies. The new specific substance can be measured invivo and invitro. In our tests 30 guinea pigs of 300-350 gr. were used. Before and after toxoid injections blood samples were taken and the sera were separated. In electrophoretic studies of the sera 5 fractions; albumin, alpha 1, alpha 2, beta and gamma globulins were noticed. The value of fractions and the statistical estimation are shown in tables 1-2. The experimental data have shown significant statistical values between them.
