[Diagnostic peritoneal lavage in blunt abdominal trauma (author's transl)].

Induced by other authors we included the lavage of the peritoneum in diagnosing the blunt abdominal trauma. From a total of 140 lavages 78 had to be treated operatively, in the negative results there were 3 wrong positive values and 1 wrong negative value. The results obtained are discussed.
