Residual valgus deformity and overgrowth was found in 4 children out of 6 with proximal tibial metaphyseal fractures. Primary reduction of this minimally displaced fracture under general anaesthesia is advised. In case of an irreducable fracture open revision is suggested. In case of an established valgus of more then 20 degrees a tibial wedge osteotomy is necessary. Recurrence of the deformity is very common especially in young children.
6例胫骨近端干骺端骨折患儿中，4例出现残余外翻畸形和过度生长。建议在全身麻醉下对这种轻度移位骨折进行一期复位。如果骨折无法复位，建议进行切开复位。如果已形成超过20度的外翻，则需要进行胫骨楔形截骨术。畸形复发非常常见，尤其是在幼儿中。
