Abstract

Peripheral blood lymphocytes from nickel-allergic and control subjects were fractionated into different subpopulations on the basis of density on Percoll, in an attempt to improve the lymphocyte transformation test in diagnosis of nickel allergy. Significant differences were obtained between the subject groups with cells recovered at densities of 1.046 and 1.058 g/ml, however, a higher significant difference was found in unseparated cells. The results still support the relative value of the transformation test as a diagnostic tool in nickel allergy. In addition, an unspecific mitogenic effect of nickel on lymphocytes is emphasized.

为了改进淋巴细胞转化试验在镍过敏诊断中的应用,将镍过敏受试者和对照受试者的外周血淋巴细胞根据其在Percoll上的密度分为不同亚群。在密度为1.046和1.058 g/ml时回收的细胞中,受试者组之间存在显著差异,然而,在未分离的细胞中发现了更高的显著差异。结果仍然支持转化试验作为镍过敏诊断工具的相对价值。此外,强调了镍对淋巴细胞的非特异性促有丝分裂作用。
