Thermography as a preoperative and follow-up method for surgery of the hand.

This paper presents thermography as a useful method for the determination of regional thermal variations, during the pre- and postoperative periods, in the surgery and pathology of the hand. This method can give, directly or indirectly, very valuable information for both diagnosis and prognosis, and at times, can give additional data to that provided by clinical and instrumental investigation.
