Abstract
Diagnostic peritoneal lavage has been evaluated in 44 pediatric cases, suspected of intraperitoneal hemorrhage. This test was proved to be a useful, safe, and highly accurate procedure for early diagnosis of intraperitoneal hemmorhage also in pediatric surgery.
