The medical treatment of sinusitis, whether the origin is of infectious nature or not, is aiming at destroying the source of infection, as well as the causal and predisposing factors. The therapeutic choice consists of anti-inflammatory drugs, vasoconstrictors and three groups of antibiotics: ampicillines, cotrimoxazole and tetracyclines such as lymecycline and doxycyclin. The relative and absolute indications of the treatment of sinusitis by antibiotherapy are indicated.
