The facet syndrome.

The author recognizes that many questions about the facet joints as a cause of low back pain are unanswered, and he urges the establishment of a set of criteria for patient selection and standardization of technical details so that a randomized cross-over study could be conducted to determine the contribution of facet joints to back pain.
