Two cases of multicystic renal dysplasia in the adult are presented and the pathogenic theories of the condition are reviewed. The more severe defects of development are those which more often remain clinically silent, until are detected, usually in a casual manner, in the adult age. Palpable mass or, more often, traditional radiology, densito-tomography and echography allow differentiation from other conditions such as polycystic kidney, tumors, tuberculosis, hydronephrosis. Anyhow, in the Author's opinion, surgical exploration is mandatory for definite diagnosis as well as for exeresis of the dysplastic mass.
本文报告了两例成人多囊性肾发育不良病例，并对该病症的致病理论进行了综述。发育缺陷越严重，往往在临床上越不易察觉，直到成年后通常偶然被发现。可触及的肿块，或者更常见的是传统放射学、密度断层扫描和超声检查，有助于与其他病症如多囊肾、肿瘤、结核、肾积水相鉴别。无论如何，作者认为，为明确诊断以及切除发育异常的肿块，手术探查是必要的。
