Two cases of capillary hemangioma of the optic disc (one endophytic and the other exophytic) unassociated with central nervous system involvement are reported. Ophthalmoscopic and fluorescein angiographic findings of capillary hemangiomas of the optic disc are summarized to aid in differentiating them from cavernous and racemose hemangiomas. Therapeutic problems are also discussed.
