Clinical analysis of 72 cases with Barré-Masson tumors was conducted. All patients underwent operation and the removed tumors were examined histologically. The tumor is characterized by a protracted course, small size, and a marked pain syndrome. The disease follows a benign course as a rule. A malignant course is rare (one case from the authors' practice is described). Operation is the only means of treatment. After thorough removal of the new growth (preferably with the use of a microscope) the pain syndrome is completely relieved as a rule.
对72例巴雷-马森肿瘤患者进行了临床分析。所有患者均接受了手术，并对切除的肿瘤进行了组织学检查。该肿瘤的特点是病程迁延、体积小且伴有明显的疼痛综合征。通常情况下，该病呈良性病程。恶性病程较为罕见（本文描述了作者诊治的1例）。手术是唯一的治疗方法。彻底切除新生物（最好使用显微镜）后，疼痛综合征通常会完全缓解。
