Bipolar electrosurgery is efficient for destruction or gross removal of many benign and malignant lesions. Its technique is simple and practicable in a dermatologic office. It requires local anesthesia generally, but is nearly bloodless. Instrumentation and fine points of use are described. Contraindication of use on patients bearing cardiac pacemakers is stressed.
