The abdominoinguinal incision provides exposure and renders resectable large tumors located in the lower retroperitoneum, the area of external iliac vessels, and the wall of the pelvis. It is particularly useful for tumors manifesting fixation to these areas. It has been used successfully in 18 patients with malignant tumors and may be expected to increase substantially resectability of tumors in this area and to decrease the need for hemipelvectomy.
腹腹股沟切口可提供暴露视野，使位于腹膜后下部、髂外血管区域及盆腔壁的大型肿瘤得以切除。对于表现为与这些区域粘连固定的肿瘤尤为有用。该方法已成功应用于18例恶性肿瘤患者，有望显著提高该区域肿瘤的可切除性，并减少半侧骨盆切除术的需求。
