[Diagnostic procedure in uveitis patients to determine general concomitant disorders].

A thorough examination, planned jointly by an internist and an ophthalmologist, is advocated for patients with uveitis. Close cooperation with all medical subspecialties is mandatory in order to save the time and money of both the physician and the patient. One or more relevant concomitant diseases were diagnosed in 79 patients out of a total of 206 who came to the Deutsche Klinik für Diagnostik, Wiesbaden, for an investigation of their uveitis.
