[Therapy of Achilles tendon rupture in athletes. Advantages of fibrin gluing].

Fibrin gluing of the ruptured Achilles tendon represents an alternative to tenorrhaphy. A report is presented on 17 cases, with particular emphasis on the surgical technique, the results of follow-up, and the findings of CT scanning.
