Two cases of total disruption of the membraneous urethra in boys, 4 years of age, are reported. This experience and the literature suggest that a totally ruptured urethra should be realigned and the bladder drained by way of a suprapubic cystostomy. Urinary extravasation causes severe pelvic fibrosis with stricture or even closure of the urethra in children. The best procedure for similar adult cases, namely resection of the fibrosis and stricture with direct anastomosis of the intact urethra, is also best in pediatric cases.
本文报告了两例4岁男孩膜性尿道完全断裂的病例。该经验及文献表明，对于完全断裂的尿道应进行重新对合，并通过耻骨上膀胱造瘘术引流膀胱。尿液外渗会导致儿童严重的盆腔纤维化，进而引起尿道狭窄甚至闭锁。对于类似的成人病例，最佳的手术方法是切除纤维化组织和狭窄段，并直接吻合完整的尿道，这一方法在儿科病例中同样适用。
