[Problems related to the deposition of microorganisms in the patent procedure].

Some practical aspects concerning deposition of microbial strains in connection with patenting are discussed. In particular, situations requiring deposition of individual strains, mixed cultures or associants are analysed. Problems of patent legislation pertinent to deposition of microorganisms are discussed.
