A five year experience with 45 patients who underwent two stage fistulotomies using seton has been reviewed. The use of seton in suprasphincteric fistulas yields excellent anatomic and physiologic results. It is recommended that a seton be used in all high, complex and suprasphincteric fistulas or when there is doubt as to the extent of the sphincter muscle involved in the fistulous process.
回顾了45例患者接受使用挂线的两期瘘管切开术的五年经验。在超括约肌瘘管中使用挂线可产生出色的解剖学和生理学效果。建议在所有高位、复杂和超括约肌瘘管中使用挂线，或者当对瘘管形成过程中涉及的括约肌范围存在疑问时使用。
