A thrombosis of bilateral Innominate and superior Cava veins, as a complication of ventriculo-atrial shunts, is described whose particularity resides at the rareness of the aetio-pathogenetic cause connected to an infectious process (mediastinitis) secondary to the infection of the neck's skin wound through the rejection of the venous catheter formed.
