The treatment of end-stage renal disease in children must be directed, not only to get a greatest survival, but essentially to obtain a full bio-psycho-social rehabilitation. Kidney Transplantation is the only method able to obtain this aim. It will be conditioned by a good integral treatment from early renal failure period. In this sense, a National Plan for Paediatric Nephrology has been established.
儿童终末期肾病的治疗不仅要致力于实现最大程度的存活，更重要的是要实现全面的生物 - 心理 - 社会康复。肾移植是实现这一目标的唯一方法。这将取决于从早期肾衰竭阶段就开始的良好综合治疗。从这个意义上说，已经制定了一项国家儿童肾脏病计划。
