There is no place in modern radiological practice for the traditional 'barium meal and follow-through'. Selection of patients should be made and a separate and specific small bowel examination should be performed for known or suspected small bowel lesions. The choice between an oral or an intubation method will be influenced by many factors and both, if performed with due care and attention to detail, can produce good diagnostic results.
在现代放射学实践中,传统的“钡餐及钡剂灌肠检查”已无立足之地。应进行患者选择,对于已知或疑似小肠病变,应进行单独且特定的小肠检查。口服法或插管法的选择会受到多种因素影响,并且如果操作时充分小心并注重细节,两种方法都能产生良好的诊断结果。
