Application of immunologic assays to the coagulation laboratory.

A number of major advances in the application of immunoassay techniques to the study of hemostasis are presented. Immunoassay methods in general are reviewed, and selected laboratory applications that have been developed for the study of platelet-specific proteins, the coagulation proteins and their protease inhibitors are considered.
