[Value of various functional indicators in the prognosis and evaluation of surgical results in peptic ulcer].

A number of functional disorders were revealed in patients with ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum prior to operation and in the postoperative period. The investigation of them before operation facilitates prognosis of possible postoperative functional disorders (dumping syndrome, post-vagotomy atony of the stomach) and individualization of the surgical tactics.
