Two patients who had laser iridotomy performed for pupillary block glaucoma developed hypopyon following surgery. One case had iris bombé with rubeosis iridis, and the other had chronic angle closure glaucoma. Factors contributing to inflammation and possible hypopyon following laser iridotomy are discussed.
