Suturing devices UO-40, UO-60 and NZhKA-60 supplied with silicon fixators of compression were used for suturing gastric and mesentery stumps. Silicon gaskets were later rejected into the stomach lumen. Silicon strips stitched by metallic clamps left in the abdominal cavity were found to cause neither inflammatory reactions nor scarry adhesions both in the nearest and remote periods after operation. It was not necessary to put even one thread ligature when ablating great portions of the intestine.
