Hepatobiliary scintigraphy.

The recently acquired ability to tag 99mTc to a number of chemicals which are excreted avidly by the liver and concentrated in the gallbladder has enabled improved diagnosis of acute cholecystitis. This article gives a brief overview of the imaging technique.
