Stain using celestine blue B as substitute nuclear stain in routine cytologic examinations.

It was found that an improved Celestine blue B stain could be used satisfactorily for routine staining of cytologic smears as a substitute nuclear stain for hematoxylin. Whatever the clinical material, the results were no different from the findings obtained by staining with the usual Papanicolaou's method using hematoxylin.
