A considerable increase in activation of CDP-dependent pathway of the phosphatidylcholine and sphingomyelin synthesis in the microsomal fraction of rat brain grey matter is established one hour after the acute radiation injury. The level of [14C] choline incorporation into phosphatidyl choline is twice as low under these conditions.
