Proliferative activity in the adrenal cortex of 10 days old chick was studied using autoradiographic technique with tritiated thymidine. The study provides an approximate distribution of DNA synthesizing and/or dividing cells in the chick adrenal cortex. The data indicate the presence of dividing cells both in the subcapsular zone (SCZ) and the inner zone (IZ) and their low or non-migratory activity within 360 hrs after injection of the isotope. This clearly suggests that both the SCZ and IZ are proliferative in chick adrenal.
采用氚标记胸腺嘧啶核苷的放射自显影技术,对10日龄雏鸡肾上腺皮质的增殖活性进行了研究。该研究给出了雏鸡肾上腺皮质中DNA合成细胞和/或分裂细胞的大致分布情况。数据表明,在注入同位素后的360小时内,被膜下区(SCZ)和内侧区(IZ)均存在分裂细胞,且它们的迁移活性较低或无迁移活性。这清楚地表明,雏鸡肾上腺的SCZ和IZ均具有增殖能力。
