[Experience with a double pigtail ureteral stent].

Double pigtail ureteral stent was inserted by endoscope in 12 cases and by operation in 10 cases. It was retained for 12 to 155 days without any trouble in 19 cases. Distal migration was experienced in 3 cases, but no severe side effects were experienced. The quality of life of the patient was improved since no external collection appliance was necessary.
