Abstract
On a routine sonography in the 33rd week of pregnancy a massively dilated urinary tract was discovered in the fetus. Therapy consisted in Caesarean section and in bilateral percutaneous nephrostomy. The diagnostic and therapeutic problems in fetal urinary tract obstruction are discussed.
