Forty patients with idiopathic hypertrophic subaortal stenosis were examined using one- and two-dimensional echocardiography. The two-dimensional method was found to be more informative in assessing the major symptoms of the disease. Two-dimensional examination allows a more accurate evaluation of the condition of the ventricular septum and the forward systolic movement of the mitral valve, thus helping to avoid the hyperdiagnosis of idiopathic hypertrophic subaortal stenosis.
对40例特发性肥厚性主动脉瓣下狭窄患者进行了一维和二维超声心动图检查。发现二维方法在评估该疾病的主要症状方面信息更多。二维检查能更准确地评估室间隔状况和二尖瓣的收缩期向前运动，从而有助于避免特发性肥厚性主动脉瓣下狭窄的过度诊断。
