[Aseptic necrosis of the femur head as a complication of intensive cytostatic, glucocorticoid and radiation therapy of lymphogranulomatosis].

Aseptic necrosis of femoral head was observed in 12 cases of Hodgkin's disease. The available data suggest that aseptic necrosis was induced by the treatment of Hodgkin's disease. Patients who have received a course of combined therapy (polychemotherapy including glucocorticoids+radiation of hip joints) should be referred to the group at risk for development of this complication.
