The effectiveness of a new procedure of inductive polychemotherapy (vincristine, cyclophosphamide, adriamycin and prednisolone) was studied in 60 non-pretreated cases of pediatric non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. The treatment was given in 7-day courses. Remission was registered in 46 out of 60 patients (76.6%). Complete regression of symptoms was observed in 58.3%. A three-year survival rate in the entire study group was 28%; the highest rate (39%) was recorded in abdominal involvement group. Due to slight toxicity the scheme should be recommended for a large-scale integration with practice.
