Abstract
Duodenal tissue was an incidental microscopic finding in a gallbladder that was removed for an acute and chronic cholecystitis with cholelithiasis and choledocholithiasis. To my knowledge, no other case of duodenal heterotopia in the cystic duct or gallbladder has been reported in the literature.
