Abstract
Single cochlear nucleus neurons were found to have phase-locked responses to electrical stimulation of the cochlear nerve of frequencies up to at least 12 kHz. Response properties varied with stimulation site, presumably because of differential stimulation of selective parts of cochlear nerve neurons.
