The short choledochus syndrome. Case report and retrograde endoscopic visualization of the biliary system.

A case report of a short ductus choledochus terminating in the bulbus duoden is presented. The patient suffered from recurrent gastric and duodenal ulcers. Peroral retrograde endoscopic choledochyography visualized this rare anomaly of the biliary system. Therapeutical and aetiological relationships between this anomaly and the ulcers are discussed.
