The malignant lymphomas (ML) of the colon are the rarest of the non-hodgkinsian ML of the digestive tract. The caecum and rectum are the most frequent locations for these colonic ML. They can occur as primary tumours or as secondary manifestations resulting from the evolution of other primary ML in other locations. The macroscopic appearance varies according to the size and number of lesions. The histological classifications in current use are based on both morphological and functional data. The most interesting of these is the one proposed by Lennert which distinguishes between the ML of low malignancy (tumours where small cells predominate) and those of high malignant (tumours made up of large cells). The prognostic depends on both the stage of growth and the type of treatment applied.
其中最有意思的是伦纳特提出的分类,它区分了低恶性ML(以小细胞为主的肿瘤)和高恶性ML(由大细胞组成的肿瘤)。
